309th Marathon Finish

Finished my 309th marathon today at the San Francisco Marathon and what an amazing experience to cross over the Golden Gate Bridge! I truly believe if I can continue to be strong enough to finish 26.2 miles, then cancer will never catch up to me again!! Warrior Strong!!

Inland Imaging Holy Family

I filmed a segment for my Pink Glove Video today with the staff and techs at Inland Imaging Holy Family. I found myself feeling emotional seeing all the familiar faces that were at the beginning of my breast cancer journey 8 years ago when it was detected here at this imaging center. 🎀🎀🎀

Upcoming San Francisco Marathon

I am excited to be crossing over the Golden Gate Bridge during the San Francisco Marathon on July 29th! And this marathon in two weeks happens to fall on what would be my mothers 86th birthday had she not lost her battle with cancer 30 years ago. I think she might be smiling down from heaven feeling pretty proud of everything I have achieved to overcome cancer myself and inspire others!

Beautiful Mountain hikes!!

A few years ago I started hiking to strengthen my legs and cross train for my marathons.  I have come to realize that my reason for hiking up a mountain side at elevation every weekend has become more than just a physical challenge. It has become my escape from this hectic world we live in and has become my mental therapy with each and every new mountain I conquer. I love this life I have been given to live!!!
