Long Beach Marathon
Looking forward to my 304th marathon in 2 weeks, my first marathon in 5 months! Right after my last marathon earlier this spring, I had an accident and tore up my knee which required surgery. It was a humbling experience, but during this rehab journey I discovered something amazing. I got off the hard road surface and I discovered soft dirt trails and climbed to high elevations I never imagined possible and found a different strength was needed for this challenge. It has been a wonderful 5 months and I am ready to take on another 26.2 miles!

30 years!!!
It has been 30 years ago today my mother passed away. I was so young and just trying to figure out life but it was plenty of time for her to plant the seeds to form me into the kind, caring, and compassionate woman I have become!

Boston Marathon Finishline
As we remember the tragedy that happened here in America 16 years ago today, I also paid a visit to the Boston Marathon finish line to honor those lost that day 4 years ago. Thank you to all our officers from the law enforcement and fire department agencies for all they do each day to keep us safe! 💙💙❤️❤️

Fenway Park and Red Sox Game
30 years ago on September 13th, 1987 my mother passed away from this terrible disease we call cancer. She was from Boston and a huge Red Sox fan. So I could not think of a better way to honor or pay tribute to her on this significant anniversary then by traveling 3000 miles to Boston to attend a Red Sox game at Fenway Park! And the Red Sox organization even arranged for us to go down on the field prior to the game for photos to make this day even more special! Angels in the Outfield for sure!!!
