Remembering our Fallen

This weekend is the time to remember all the brave members of the military who gave their life for our freedom. It was the ultimate honor to be a Guardian 4 weeks ago on the Inland Northwest Honor Flight trip to Washington DC with our veterans.

Looking forward to taking the summer off from marathons to focus on recharging my batteries and healing my body and soul. I will be doing some awesome hiking and traveling this great nation of ours! Marathon #304 will be the Long Beach Marathon in California on October 8th.

Armed Forces Torchlight Parade

Unbelievable experience to be with these amazing WWII, Korean, and Vietnam veterans of Inland Northwest Honor Flight finally getting to wave in a parade at the Armed Forces Torchlight Parade last night. I had tears in my eyes the entire time watching the smiles on their faces! God Bless America!🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to everyone today and to my mom in heaven. Even though it has been 30 years since she has been gone, I always feel today is still a day to celebrate my mom and thank her for inspiring me to become the person I am today. 

Bloomsday 12k

What a fun time at Bloomsday 2017! I haven't done this race in 5 years because of my marathon schedule and I forgot what an amazing sea of humanity it is. It was great to see so many familiar faces!
