Finished my 272nd marathon today at the Cape Cod Marathon here in Massachusetts. It was an emotional finish because this was the last marathon I ran 4 years ago before this breast cancer journey began, so it was a day of coming full circle. It has been a great team of people who have worked hard to get me here. A very talented Surgical Oncologist, Orthopedic Surgeon and all of my amazing friends! And after I finished I had one thought.....I am going to be alright because I kicked Cancers Ass!

Saw my surgical oncologist Dr Stephanie Moline from Cancer Care Northwest today for my scheduled check and test results and was told I remain cancer free! And coincidently it was also 4 years ago today, October 22, 2009 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and my life has forever been changed. I am reminded everyday that I am not only a Survivor, I am an Overcomer! And heading to Boston this weekend to run a marathon down in Cape Cod, Massachusetts to celebrate!
