My Finisher Medal to Cancer Care Northwest
I presented my finisher medal from PF Changs Rock N Roll Marathon to my cancer surgeon yesterday in a wonderfully planned out presentation. Dr Moline was really honored and had no idea what we had planned. All of my wonderful new friends at Cancer Care northwest were there in attendance for this special moment. Thank you to everyone at Cancer Care Northwest for making me cancer free and back to my love of running marathons! I will forever be grateful!

American Cancer Society
Meet with the local chapter of the American Cancer Society to get involved with the Relay for Life here in Spokane. Going to do my best to drum up some new teams to fundraise. I am planning on running 30 miles at the Spokane Falls Relay for Life in June. Yes, 120 laps around that track. Another celebration of being cancer free!

Icy running
It is a solid sheet of ice here in Spokane this morning. Tried to drive down off the hill to meet some friends to run at Manito Park and had to get myself out of the ditch and head back home because it was so slick! I will do my running on the treadmill today. Excited for my marathon next weekend in Phoenix.

Slick and slushy
It was a slick and slushy run this morning here in Spokane. Wore my new Saucony Razor trail shoes! Kept my feet dry and warm! Love those shoes.

Happy New Year
I hope everyone has been out already enjoying the New Year! I have been running everyday! I challenge everyone to get out everyday and move. If I can challenge myself to run a marathon 10 weeks after breast cancer surgery, then you can do it to! Please update me with your progress.
