Inland Imaging

Had my routine cancer scans today and ran into my promotional banner here at Inland Imaging that reminds women the importance of getting their yearly mammogram! There is always that anticipation and nervousness leading up to these appointments but they are so important!! I am forever grateful to Inland Imaging for discovering  my cancer in the treatable stage!!

Celebrating Life

As I get ready to complete another marathon in a couple of weeks it makes me realize what I have accomplished these last 9 years as a cancer survivor. I have finished 75 additional marathons to bring my total to 310. I have inspired thousands of people by sharing my story of overcoming my challenge. I have been given the chance to do some amazing things that I would have never imagined having the opportunity to do before! Cancer didn’t win this battle, I won this battle! I am alive and can’t wait to live the rest of my life!

Centennial Trail Medallion

Work took me out to Mirabeau Park today and I visited my 2nd Centennial Trail medallion. It reads Carol Dellinger, Marathon Machine, 150. This was bought for me after my 150th marathon back in 2002. Wow, that was 160 marathons ago!!!

Give Love Hearts

Spent the afternoon walking around downtown Spokane searching out the Give Love Heart Project hearts to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Spokane! We found 23 of the 25 hearts and they are all spectacular! These are a few of my favorites! I encourage everyone to go see these amazing pieces of art! ❤️❤️

National Law Enforcement Officer

Congratulations to Captain Tracie Meidl for being named as Officer of the Month for October 2018 from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund in Washington DC for her 25 years of dedicated law enforcement service!!! I nominated Tracie for this award because I have known her for a long time, I have been watching her career, and I have grown to appreciate everything she has done for this community. She will be honored at a special awards ceremony in Washington DC during National Police Week in May 2019!!
