311th Marathon Finish

Finished my 311th marathon today at the Rock n Roll San Antonio Marathon on a hot and humid day in Texas! Pretty cool to finish right at the famous River Walk!! 26.2 miles does not get any easier after this many marathons but I always remember the bigger challenges I have overcome! Continuing to put more distance between myself and cancer!

Upcoming Marathon

It has been almost 2 years since I was getting ready to complete my 300th marathon in Honolulu on December 11th. It was an amazing goal to complete but the fire continues to burn deep inside and I will be completing marathon #311 in two weeks in San Antonio, Texas!

Inland Imaging

Had my routine cancer scans today and ran into my promotional banner here at Inland Imaging that reminds women the importance of getting their yearly mammogram! There is always that anticipation and nervousness leading up to these appointments but they are so important!! I am forever grateful to Inland Imaging for discovering  my cancer in the treatable stage!!

Celebrating Life

As I get ready to complete another marathon in a couple of weeks it makes me realize what I have accomplished these last 9 years as a cancer survivor. I have finished 75 additional marathons to bring my total to 310. I have inspired thousands of people by sharing my story of overcoming my challenge. I have been given the chance to do some amazing things that I would have never imagined having the opportunity to do before! Cancer didn’t win this battle, I won this battle! I am alive and can’t wait to live the rest of my life!
