I had the pleasure of meeting Gordon, a Park Service Law Enforcement Officer when I visited Washington DC last weekend for my marathon. Since he couldn’t get off his horse to hug me when I thanked him for his service, he reached down and asked if he could hold my hand for the photo!!! And yes, I cried!!! Love all LEO’s!!! 💙👮♀️💙👮♀️

Finished my 307th marathon today at the Rock n Roll Washington DC Marathon here in our beautiful Nations Capital! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than by being a fit and powerful woman finishing another marathon!! If I can complete 26.2 miles 307 times, I can conquer anything!!Unstoppable!!!

This past December I dedicated my marathon in Honolulu to a friends young son Rylan who was severely burned in an accident on November 11th. He has gone through a long journey towards recovery the last 3 months. This week I gave him my finisher medal from the Honolulu Marathon, he deserves it because he too is a survivor!
